"and between us, there is..." exhibits a set of poems that explore the struggle of finding personal meaning through relationships and love; the irony of helping others find their place in this world only to neglect yourself; the nagging reminder that perhaps you are stuck serving others and may never have anything to your name; and the finality that even if you were to compile your feelings into a collection of amateur poetry, it would ultimately only serve to be shown to others in an attempt at being rewarded with the attention you for some reason think you deserve.

Written through Spring of 2020. Contains references to self-harm.
